WHATEVER BEARING TYPE YOU NEED WE HAVE THE SOLUTION

DEEP GROOVE BALL BEARINGS

The most commonly used type of roller bearing, they are rigid and non-seperable radial bearings in which the balls run in deep grooves on both inner and outer rings. This design maintains load capacity in axial and radial directions.

A single row deep groove ball bearing has a higher speed rating than any other type of ball or roller bearing. Double row deep groove ball bearings are used where greater radial loads are a factor.

ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS

Rigid non separable radial bearings, they are well suited to high speed applications that require both radial and thrust forces including combined loads and tilting motion.

These bearings only accept thrust load in one direction and so must be used as a pair where any shaft adjustment  is required in both axial directions. They come with various degrees of angular contact, the greater the angle the higher

the thrust load capacity.

SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Rigid and non-separable, these are contructed using two rows of barrel shaped rollers that rotate within a spherical outer ring.

These bearings offer excellent compensation for any misalignments and are typically used in heavy machinery. They are for low to medium speed operation.

SELF ALIGNING BALL BEARINGS

These are self aligning, non separable double row radial bearings where both rows of balls can rotate in parallel within a spherical outer ring.

They provide excellent compensation for misalignments between shafts and housings.

TAPER ROLLER BEARING

Separable radial bearings, the outer ring sits on the inner and can be simply lifted off. Taper roller bearings only accept thrust in one direction and so must be used in pairs where loads are present in both directions.

CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

These are normally rigid non-separable radial bearings. The particularly tight fit where the outer and inner rings are concerned make these highly suited in applications where shock loads and vibration are a feature.

NEEDLE ROLLER BEARINGS

Needle roller bearings are separable radial bearings with a high load carrying capacity.

They are thin in design and thus suited to limited space applications.

THRUST BALL BEARINGS

These are separable axial bearings in both single and double direction acting designs.

To assist in building or dis-assembly the bearing washers, cage and seatings may be individually mounted.

Thrust ball bearings accept comparatively high axial loads but they must not be exposed to radial forces. Suited to low/medium operating speed they require minimum axial load to achieve their optimum performance.

TOROIDAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Toroidal roller bearings are a revolutionary bearing in that they are self-aligning like a spherical bearing and axially free like a cylindrical roller or needle bearing. They accommodate misalignment and axial displacement within the the bearing without inducing internal axial loads with almost no increase in friction.

COMBINED NEEDLE ROLLER BEARINGS

Combined needle roller bearings consist of a radial needle combined with a thrust bearing.

They accommodate both radial and axial loads.

These bearings provide the means to locate bearings where there is limited radial space.
